One of the beautiful chapels of ease here in Berkeley County. This is Strawberry Chapel in Cordesville, just outside of Moncks Corner, SC.
Strawberry Chapel is now the only visible remains of the Colonial town of Childsbury. Chapels of Ease were built to serve the people who lived far from the regular parish church. A small cemetery with graves dating back to 1759 is adjacent to this beautiful chapel. It was listed in the National Register on April 26, 1972.
